The purpose of this site is to provide a central access point for all those mentoring probationer teachers in Perth & Kinross Council.
In the first instance, it is being used for specific training on the uses of BLOGS, WIKIS, and RSS. These technologies can be a great asset for the provision of support to the Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), for ourselves, and hopefully you will find a use for them in your classroom teaching as well.
Network Training
The first use of this resource is for the Network Training Session held in the Kennard Room at Blackfriars on 1st November, 2006. The session will be hosted by Neil Winton, English Teacher @ Perth Academy, NQT Mentor and GLOW Mentor.
Mentor Resources
I've now added the exemplar of a completed GTCS Report which I had at the inservice. You can find it on the MENTOR RESOURCES page.
